The sound piece “Unknown Sorrow” explores Edvinas Prokofjevas' personal problem, an illness that he is struggling with. The listener can go through the experience of what it feels to have sudden pains and urges to go to the bathroom. However, the piece is also open to your own interpretation. A questionnaire helped to understand what respondents feel and how they connect to the sounds when they reflect them onto their problems. The artwork is a combination of sounds used of the respondents to be interpreted by each individual when he is resonating with his own issue.
